Javier “Jay” Jackson brings a strong passion for people and a true heart for service to his role as Program Director for Hamilton County. Jay’s journey with Toward Independence began as a Direct Support Professional, and through hard work, dedication, and a natural ability to lead, he has grown into several roles, including Supervisor, Program Coordinator, and Client Financial Specialist.

Along the way, Jay has built meaningful connections with both clients and staff, always keeping our “People First” value at the center of everything he does. His experience across multiple departments gives him a well-rounded perspective, enabling him to support his team and ensure individuals receive the highest quality of care.

Known for his positive energy and approachable nature, Jay is a leader who leads by example. His journey reflects growth within Toward Independence, and his commitment continues to make a lasting impact on the lives of those we serve
