What You'll Get To Do As a Quality Assurance Specialist

Be a Compliance Guru

  • Review of all program and operational functions to maintain strict compliance with internal, state, and federal regulations
  • Ensures compliance with Medicaid regulations, Licensure rules, and County Board Specifications.
  • Reviews UIRs/MUIs and other home documentation for completion

Support Success

  • Provide routine, regular, random, and targeted audits of client and program records and client accounts, to ensure programs meet billing and license standards.
  • Plan and complete unannounced on-site pop-in visits to TI locations
  • Celebrate milestones and create meaningful experiences for the people you serve.

Champion Health & Safety

  • Ensures individuals’ rights are established and maintained
  • Models’ appropriate behavior while mentoring/ training staff on program implementation and interpersonal communications with individuals/family members, community members, and staff
  • Step in to resolve challenges and emergencies while maintaining a calm, person-centered approach.

What You’ll Need

  • Knowledge of DODD laws and regulations, including HIPAA.
  • Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data modeling
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with 5 or fewer points
