What You’ll get to do as a Nurse
Health & Wellness Leader
- Ensure all physicians’ orders are signed, filed, and followed correctly.
- Monitor controlled medications, medicine cabinets, and the electronic Medication Administration Records (eMAR).
- Conduct periodic chart reviews for accuracy and compliance.
Mentor & Support Staff
- Observe and train DSPs in safe medication administration.
- Provide hands-on coaching to ensure quality medical support for individuals.
- Serve as a resource for staff questions related to health and medical care.
Client-Centered Care
- Complete quarterly medical assessments for all individuals under your care.
- Accompany individuals to specialty appointments, advocating for their health needs.
- Promote independence while ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity at all times.

What We’re Looking For
- Preferred experience working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities; willing to train the right candidate.
- Experience overseeing medication administration and supporting DSPs in medical care.
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations for reporting and support purposes.
- Valid LPN license and proof of education.
- Good driving record (5 points or fewer), reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
- Ability to pass a background check.
