Founded in 1975 by a group of dedicated parents who wanted more for their children with developmental disabilities. Over 50 years later, we provide individualized
services to 200 people across Darke, Greene, Hamilton, Miami, Montgomery, and Warren Counties. We are able to provide such a high-quality service because of our
350+ dedicated, trained employees who see working in the developmental field as a calling to change a life.

"We believe that every person, regardless of ability, deserves
opportunities to live their best life. We are committed to ensuring individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities can do this by helping with every area of home needs, providing transportation, and creating exciting day programs. We encourage our employees to give their knowledge, experiences, creativity, and most of all their passion to help make this dream a reality. Join us as we make a difference!"
— Joseph Harmon, CEO
RESIDENTIAL
We provide an array of in-home services in over 50 homes across six counties. We strive to help people live independently. Whether that means drop-in services or 24- hour assistance, we are there to help.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is an obstacle for a lot of adults with developmental
disabilities. Our fleet of vehicles is clean, modern, and accommodates any need. With our highly trained drivers, we are able to provide reliable, punctual, and appropriate transportation.
DAY SERVICES
We have three conveniently located Day Service programs. Each location provides many options to ensure that the passions and goals of these that attend are being reached and exceeded. We also have many partnerships in the community, which allow us to offer unique experiences.
REP PAYEE
Representative Payee Services empowers individuals with developmental disabilities to achieve fulfilling lives by providing financial security, removing barriers, and fostering opportunities for personal growth, community involvement, and goal achievement.
REMOTE SUPPORTS
Remote Support lets off-site staff monitor and respond to a person’s needs using real-time communication while supporting independence at home. It allows two-way communication so individuals can request help whenever needed. Optional technology, like sensors, can detect emergencies such as falls. Cameras may also be used to help monitor home entry and safety.
Serving adults with developmental disabilities
The mission of TI is to empower people with developmental disabilities to experience the fullest life possible by providing person-centered supports that enable them to integrate into a variety of settings within their community.
VALUES
We, as employees, do everything we can through our decisions and actions so that:
VISION
Our vision is for all individuals to live an active, healthy, self-directed life, growing in self-confidence and independence through a network of supported relationships. Our vision statement reflects the entire world, not just the Developmental Disabilities (DD) field, as we would like to see it in the future.

Becoming a DSP (Direct Support Professional) means you are choosing to do more with your life. You are choosing to help create miracles every day for the Individual that you will serve. You are choosing to make lifelong relationships that will impact the way you view your job. Becoming a DSP is a journey that you do not want to miss.
